When Office for Education indicates that your email address is verified but the next page continues to load indefinitely, this typically points to either a sign-in/entitlement issue or a stale browser cache issue.
Please note that email verification only confirms that your domain is recognized as an academic domain; it does not automatically confirm that your school has assigned the appropriate Microsoft 365 Education license (Office 365 A1, A3, or A5) or enabled desktop app downloads for your account.
Additionally, if your school has provided an Office 365 A1 license, this plan includes access to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint via web only and does not permit installation of the desktop applications. In such cases, attempts to access the desktop download page may result in a continuous loading screen.
To verify your license and entitlements, please sign in to your account subscription portal: My account
If you have a valid license and the page continues to load indefinitely, please try opening a private or incognito browser window. You can also clear your browser’s cookies and cache by selecting the three‑dot menu in the top‑right corner of your browser, then choosing Delete browsing data and selecting Clear now.
After completing the steps above, please try accessing the download page again.
If the issue continues, please contact your IT administrator to have them verify that the appropriate Microsoft 365 Education license is assigned to your account. If necessary, they can reassign the license to refresh your entitlements and ensure that desktop app downloads are enabled.
