All my emails have been overwritten with a threatening message; my (now changed) password has been added to the subject line. The emails are unreadable. I have already changed my password and enabled two-step verification. I can receive and send emails again, but the old emails are unreadable. Can you help me make them readable again and remove the threatening text?

    Hi,

Seems like a draft message is stuck. Is the language correct at https://account.microsoft.com/profile page?

The symptoms point that your account was hacked, and the hackers probably added your account to an organisation.

    • Go to https://account.microsoft.com and sign in with your Microsoft account.
    • Change the password
      • Select Security.
        • Click Password security.
          • Enter your current password.
            • Enter and confirm the new password.
              • Select Save.Sign out everywhere
    • Open SecurityAdvanced security options.
      • Scroll to Sign me out.
      • Select Sign me out everywhere to end all active sessions on devices and browsers.
    • Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) Go to SecurityAdvanced security options.
      • Find Two-step verification.
      • Select Turn on.
      • Follow the prompts to add a verification method such as the **Microsoft Authenticator app, phone number, or email.
      • Complete the setup to activate two-step verification.

You can also try to leave the Guest account using Teams and see if that helps.

If you want to remove the Guest account, you can open the Teams App > Settings > Accounts and Orgs. Click the button to leave the organisation.
