Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Based on similar cases, the LinkedIn Premium activation email can arrive correctly but fail to appear in some mail clients or apps.
Steps to try:
- Sign in to the email account used for the Microsoft 365 Education purchase from a desktop browser (for example, on a laptop or Mac, not only from a phone mail app).
- Check Inbox, Spam/Junk, Promotions/Other folders for any message about a LinkedIn Premium or LinkedIn offer related to the Microsoft 365 bundle.
- If there is a “Welcome” or confirmation email for the Microsoft 365 offer, open it and look carefully for any link or section mentioning LinkedIn or Premium benefits; in a prior case, the LinkedIn offer link was visible only when viewing mail from a desktop browser.
- If the email still cannot be found, contact Microsoft 365 Support so an agent can review the subscription and promotion status:
- Go to Contact Microsoft 365 Support and follow the prompts for Microsoft 365 and subscription/billing help.
If the LinkedIn offer email is present but the link does not work, provide a copy of that email (without sharing sensitive data) to support so they can investigate the specific promotion tied to the account.
