Hello Modebola Ayanfe-Oki,
Thank you for reaching out in Microsoft Q&A forum.
I understand you're seeing a parental‑consent error even though your account is already an adult one, and that can be very frustrating.
This message usually appears when the system detects that the account’s birthdate is set as under‑age or the consent history is incomplete, even if you’re an adult. The quickest fix is to sign in to your own account profile and update/confirm your birthdate; Microsoft now requires completing the consent flow once before you can edit it, even for adults.
If the system still won’t accept your account as a parent/guardian after confirming your DOB, it means consent was previously granted using another adult account, and only that account can manage or remove the consent. In such cases, the original adult must sign in, or you may need to recover that adult account.

Hope this helps
