Defender for Business licence not provisioning for endpoint onboarding

I have just added the Defender for Business licence , downloaded the onboarding package but it doesnt say anywhere what to do next.

    Hello Dean,

    You have reach the Microsoft community and I’m here to help, let’s check first the defender’s provisioning status by going to this link https://security.microsoft.com then navigate to Assets then select Devices tell me what you can see about it. Next go to Microsoft 365 admin center here is the link https://admin.microsoft.com then navigate to Users then select Active users. Select the users whoever is the device owner or yourself and confirm if the Microsoft Defender for Business is checked. If you were able to download the onboarding package as what you mentioned above you must extract the zip file, right click WindowsDefenderATPLocalOnboardingScript.cmd and run as administrator and press Y when prompted.
