    Hi @jcorbei

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum. I’ll do my best to help, and to ensure the guidance I provide is accurate and relevant, I’d like to clarify a few details first:

    • I noticed that your post is tagged under the For Business channel. To kindly reconfirm, are you using a Microsoft 365 Business account that’s managed by an organization, or a personal Microsoft account? If it is a business account, could you also let me know whether you’re signing in as an end user or if you have IT administrator privileges?
    • Could you also share where you’re attempting to change the password? When you attempt to change the password, what exactly happens? Do you see a specific error message, does the page indicate the action is blocked, or does the process simply not go through? If possible, a screenshot (with any sensitive information hidden) would help visualize the issue more clearly.
    • You mentioned receiving notifications about suspicious logins. Could you let me know where you received those alerts, such as via email, a security notification page, or another channel? If you’re able to share a screenshot of the notification (again, with personal details obscured), that would be very helpful as well.
    • Do you currently have multi‑factor authentication (MFA) or any additional security methods set up on the account, such as a phone number or Microsoft Authenticator app? And are you still able to access those methods?

Once I have a bit more information, I’ll be able to better understand your situation and suggest the most appropriate next steps.

When you have a moment, please feel free to reply under this post with the additional details. I’ll be more than happy to continue assisting you.

Thank you for your time, and I’m looking forward to your reply.
