Can not login to Azure portal

Hi.

Is the access to Microsoft Admin Center or Azure portal?

If error message is AADSTS5000225, means azure portal. The tenant has been inactive for about 200+ days (no user/admin sign-ins)

If you just want to use Azure Again (not recovering de old Tenant). The old Tenant was deleted, you must create a new one. But sometimes the portal automatically redirects you to the blocked tenant, preventing login

Solution:

Open a private/incognito browser window, go to https://portal.azure.com/common , Sign in with your Microsoft account, go to Microsoft Entra ID → Manage tenants → Create new tenant.

If you still get redirected to the blocked tenant, try a forced login. Use https://portal.azure.com/<your-account>.onmicrosoft.com or, https://portal.azure.com/<tenantID> (This forces login into a valid tenant)

If you want to recover the old tenant

Recovery is only possible if:

The tenant was blocked less than 20 days ago.

In that case, only Microsoft Support can reactivate it.

You would need to provide:

Tenant ID

Correlation ID

Error timestamp

Affected email

Country and time zone

If more than 20 days have passed → recovery is impossible.
