Surface Pro 7 won't turn on, won't reset.

I've got a Surface Pro 7 that had sat unused for quite a while that I now need for a project.

It wouldn't power on (as expected) after sitting so long, so I put it on the charger. It still wouldn't power on, even when plugged in, so I left it on the charger overnight.

I've attempted all of the steps in all of the videos about resetting it (holding down the power button for 30 seconds, holding down the power / volume up at the same time to get to the EUFY screen, etc.), and still nothing.

Any other tips or suggestions on how I might be able to get it to turn on?

    If a Surface Pro 7 won’t power on after sitting unused, it’s usually due to a deep battery discharge or a power delivery issue.

    If possible, test with another Surface charger (65W+) or a USB‑C PD charger (45W+). Make sure the Surface charger LED lights up.

    Leave it plugged (Without Power On) in for 24–48 hours to recover from deep discharge.

    Hold Power + Volume Up for 15–20 seconds, release, wait 10 seconds, then press Power.

    Connect via USB‑C/MiniDP to rule out a dead internal screen.

    If none of these work, the issue is likely with the battery controller or mainboard. At that point, service through Microsoft Support.
