Restore my Office 365 subscription to December 25,2026 expiry under [mod: PII redacted]@live.com account

My subscription to Office 365 was extended about December 18, 2025 to the end of December 2026 under my live.com account.

I received another request to extend my Office 365 subscription to the end of December 2026 from Microsoft under my personal email with shaw.ca. A duplicate subscription request.

I removed the shaw.ca account from the accounts list in setting, thinking that would solve the double billing.

To my bewilderment, the subscription information in both accounts disappeared, and I couldn't go back.

How can I get the subscription to the end of December 2026 restored?

To restore your Office 365 subscription to the end of December 2026, you will need to follow these steps:

    1. Check Subscription Status: First, verify the current status of your subscription in the Microsoft 365 admin center. If the subscription has been deleted, you will not be able to restore it directly.
    2. Contact Support: Since you mentioned that the subscription information has disappeared from both accounts, it would be best to contact Microsoft Support for assistance. They can help you understand what happened to your subscriptions and guide you on how to restore or reactivate your subscription.
    3. Reactivation Options: If your subscription is still within the reactivation period (typically 30 days after expiration), you might be able to reactivate it directly through the admin center. If it has been longer, support will provide the best options available.
    4. Avoiding Duplicate Subscriptions: To prevent future issues with duplicate subscriptions, ensure that you manage your accounts carefully and confirm the billing details for each account you use.

Make sure to have your account details handy when you contact support to expedite the process.

    Hi R. Narayanan,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum, and I’m sorry for the confusion with the duplicate subscription request and the missing subscription information. I understand how worrying it is to suddenly not see your Microsoft 365 subscription anymore after removing an email account.

To clarify, removing an email address from your account list or device settings does not cancel or delete a Microsoft 365 subscription. Your subscription is always tied to one specific Microsoft account, and it will only appear under that account on the Services page.

Because your subscription was originally extended under your live.com account in December 2025, it should still be associated with that same account.

    Here’s what I suggest:

    1. Check your subscription under the correct Microsoft account

    • Please sign in at: https://account.microsoft.com/services
    • First sign in with your live.com account
    • Then sign in again using your shaw.ca account (just to confirm)
    • Only one of these accounts will show the active subscription. The other email may have received a promotional or general notification, but that does not mean it has its own subscription.

    2. Confirm your billing history

    Please go to: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

If the subscription was successfully renewed to December 2026, you should see a charge or renewal record under the correct account.

    3. If the subscription still does not appear

In that case, you will need to contact Microsoft Support so they can securely check:

You can reach Support here: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus

Follow: Describe your issue → Enter → Scroll down → Contact Support

Only Microsoft Support can view account‑level details or restore a subscription if needed.

Hopefully my response gives you some useful directions toward fixing this.
