A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
Dear @Marjane,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!
First of all, I want to begin by sincerely apologizing for the frustration and inconvenience this issue has caused you.
To move forward, could you please try the steps below and let me know the results?
Step 1: Unlink your university OneDrive account
- Click the OneDrive cloud icon in the system tray
- Go to Settings > Account
- Select your university/school account and choose Unlink this PC
Step 2: Clear OneDrive cached credentials:
- Please kindly refer to: Clear OneDrive cached credentials
- After that, restart your device
Step 3: Sign in again
- Open OneDrive and sign in only with your university account first
- Check if the account now appears correctly in the OneDrive app and starts syncing normally
Additionally, to help me investigate further, could you please help confirm the following details:
- Share a screenshot of the OneDrive > Settings > Account tab, showing which accounts are listed there.
- Confirm which account is currently signed in to your Office apps.
This will help determine whether there is an account conflict between your personal and university accounts.
Note: Please note that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.
Your patience and understanding are highly appreciated. I am looking forward to your response!
