How can I "remove consent" if I am the only family member listed?

I purchased a solitaire game for my 70 year old wife to play. However, am directed to Xbox to verify her age. This lead to discovery that my profile information still shows Region/County as Korea where we haven't lived since 2008.

I then went to profile to change my country/region from Korea to United States. However, when I go to do that, I am told that I need to "remove consent" first for I assume one of my children. These "children" are now adults and long gone from the home.

I can find nowhere that shows any family names other than my own. So how can I "remove consent" for people who are not listed as family members??

I'm at a total loss here ... all I want to do is to verify my wife's age to play the solitaire game!

    Hello John Peterson,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum

I understand you wish to know how to remove consent form your Microsoft account when you are the only family member listed.

Here is what you can do:

You should refer to this site below first and see the how to remove parental consent section for instruction:

If you try the site above and you are still unable to remove consent, then your account needs further assistance from Microsoft support to remove consent, here is how to contact them:

    1. Open a website link - Contact - Microsoft Support
    2. In the box below "We're here to help", type Microsoft 365, click "Get Help", and then click "Contact Support" below.
    3. In this section, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account.
    4. Select "Microsoft 365 and Office" under Products & Services, select "Technical Support" as the category, and click to confirm
    5. You can select " Chat with a support agent in your web browser " to access the chat window.
