How to get iPhone 16 to receive Emails through Microsoft 365

I have an iPhone 16 purchased from Best Buy.  I subscribe to Microsoft 365.  The calendars on the computer and iPhone had been synchronized, but the synchronization was lost.  While attempting to correct this problem, I did something that now keeps the E-mail program on the iPhone to cease receiving E-mails sent to my primary E-mail address, ******@comcast.net.  The computer with the Microsoft 365 does receive E-mails.  The iPhone does receive E-mails to the secondary address, ******@icloud.com.  I need assistance to get the iPhone to receive E-mails addressed to my primary E-mail address, ******@comcast.net, and to synchronize the calendars on the iPhone and computer.

I have spent two hours on the chat line with the Geek Squad of Best Buy without success.  At the urging of the remote Best Buy representative, I brought the phone and computer to the local Best Buy store for consultation with a Geek Squad representative in person.  He tried numerous options but none worked.  He concluded that the problem was with the Microsoft 365 program.

I need assistance to get the iPhone to receive E-mails addressed to my primary E-mail address, ******@comcast.net, and to synchronize the calendars on the iPhone and computer.

To get your iPhone 16 to receive emails through Microsoft 365 and to synchronize your calendars, follow these steps:

    1. Check Email Account Settings: Ensure that your primary email address (******@comcast.net) is properly configured on your iPhone. Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts and check if your Comcast account is listed. If not, add it by selecting Add Account and following the prompts.
    2. Remove and Re-add the Account: If your primary email account is already there but not receiving emails, try removing it and then re-adding it. To do this, go to Settings > Mail > Accounts, select your Comcast account, and tap Delete Account. After that, add it again.
    3. Check Sync Settings: Make sure that the settings for syncing mail and calendars are enabled. Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts, select your Comcast account, and ensure that Mail and Calendars are toggled on.
    4. Check for Updates: Ensure that your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check for any available updates.
    5. Recreate ActiveSync Relationship: If you are using Exchange ActiveSync for your calendar, you may need to recreate the ActiveSync relationship. This involves removing the ActiveSync relationship on the mobile device and from Outlook Web App, then re-adding it. Refer to the troubleshooting steps provided in the Microsoft documentation for detailed instructions.
    6. Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for assistance with your Microsoft 365 account, as they may be able to provide specific guidance based on your account settings.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the email and calendar synchronization issues on your iPhone.
