Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Microsoft Q&A is public, and we can only provide information. It is beyond our capability to assist directly with billing-related concerns.

Microsoft 365 subscription is tied to the country and currency where it was originally purchased. Because of that, the system won’t let you extend the subscription or set up auto-billing using a payment method from your new country.

What you can do instead is cancel your current subscription and wait for it to expire (or you can cancel it early if possible). Once it’s fully expired, you can purchase a new Microsoft 365 subscription using your correct country and billing information.

I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

If your subscription is not getting renewed and your payment method is not being accepted, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can take:

    1. Check Payment Method Compatibility: Ensure that the payment method you are using is issued from the same country/region as your tenant. Since your subscription is from India, the payment method should also be from India.
    2. Verify Card Details: Double-check that the card details (card number, expiration date, name on the card, and address) match exactly as they appear on the card and your statement.
    3. Contact Your Bank: It's possible that your card is inactive, blocked, or not enabled for international transactions. Contact your bank to resolve these issues.
    4. Use Supported Cards: Make sure you are not using a prepaid or virtual card, as these are not accepted for Microsoft subscriptions.
    5. Try Different Browsers: If you are experiencing issues with the payment page, try using a different browser or clearing your browser's cache and cookies.

If you continue to face issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.
