A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
Hi @Julie
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum.
Based on your description, I understand that you’re unable to complete the OneDrive sign-in process and are being prompted for an old password. This issue may be related to cached credentials from your previous account stored in macOS Keychain.
Here are some steps you may consider trying to see if they help resolve the issue:
1.Clear OneDrive credentials from Keychain
-Quit OneDrive completely.
-Open the Keychain Access app on your Mac.
-In Keychain Access, search for “OneDrive.”
-Delete the OneDrive cached credentials.
Please note: The steps to delete keychains may vary. An alternative approach is to choose Window > Keychain Access, then choose File > Delete Keychain [OneDrive/Office/MS] and click "Delete References."

2.Reset OneDrive
-Open Finder > Applications.
-Control-click OneDrive and choose Show Package Contents.
-Go to Contents > Resources.
-Double-click ResetOneDriveApp.command (or ResetOneDriveAppStandalone.command, if you're using the standalone app).
-Start OneDrive and finish the setup process.
