Hello Marieke,
It’s great to hear from you and I appreciate you reaching out about your Clipchamp projects disappearing. I completely understand how upsetting it is to open Clipchamp and suddenly not see hours of work you’ve carefully built especially when you’ve already checked the usual locations and found them empty. Losing creative work can be incredibly stressful so you’re absolutely right to look for every possible way to recover those files.
One additional path you can try is reviewing whether your Clipchamp account may have switched to a different Microsoft profile. Sometimes projects appear missing simply because Clipchamp signs in using another account cached in the browser. Signing out of Clipchamp completely, clearing your browser cookies and then signing back in with the exact Microsoft account you originally used often brings the projects back into view.
It may also help to check if your browser was set to private mode or if you were using a device with multiple profiles since Clipchamp saves projects per user account. If your device has local browsing history or cached app data it can also be worthwhile to check if any temporary Clipchamp folders still contain autosave versions of your earlier edits. This sometimes restores projects even when the OneDrive folder appears empty.
Just to help us narrow things down do you remember whether you used Clipchamp in a browser or the desktop app and was it on the same device you’re using now?
I hope this answer is helpful if you have further questions feel free to reply back
Regards,
Marcelo
