This issue commonly occurs when your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) settings need to be reset, particularly after changing devices or reinstalling the Microsoft Authenticator app. Since your new device hasn’t been configured with the Authenticator yet, you're currently unable to access your account. The app remains linked to your previous device, which is why you're not receiving the authentication codes.
Because you are using a school account, this account is managed by the school’s administrator.
In this case, please contact your school administrator (this may be the IT department) to request an MFA reset for your account. If you cannot contact the administrator directly, you can ask your teacher to help reach out on your behalf.
After contacting the administrator, please provide them with the following steps to reset MFA for your account:
Step 1: Go to entra.microsoft.com
Step 2: Click Users → All users → select your account
Step 3: Click Authentication methods
Step 4: Select Re-require registration for MFA
After the administrator completes these steps, your next login will prompt you to set up MFA again. Please perform the setup on your new phone.
