Lost access to my account back in March as I had to change phone numbers and when I went to change it on my MS account it stated that it was locked for suspicious activity. I do not have access to the phone number that it is trying to send an access code to. I have continuously attempted to submit an account recovery form with no luck. Now I have gotten an email stating due to my inactivity I will be charged an extra 5 dollars a month for something microsoft will not give me access to. I would love to contact support for this situation but again I can not sign in. For fucks sake someone give me a tip on how to fix this.

If you are unable to access your Microsoft account due to it being locked for suspicious activity and you cannot receive the access code on your old phone number, you have a few options:

    1. Account Recovery Form: Since you mentioned that you have already attempted to submit an account recovery form without success, ensure that you are providing as much accurate information as possible. This includes details about your account, previous passwords, and any other identifying information.
    2. Contact Support: Although you cannot sign in, you can still create a support ticket without signing in. You can visit the Microsoft support page and follow the instructions to get help with your locked account.
    3. Two-Factor Authentication Issues: If you lost access to your two-factor authentication device, you can go to the support page and select the product you need help with. This may help you resolve issues related to two-factor authentication.
    4. Billing Issues: If you are facing charges for inactivity, you may want to contact support for billing issues directly. You can find the appropriate contact at the support page for business products.

It’s important to act quickly to avoid any additional charges and to regain access to your account.

Hi! Microsoft won’t charge you for inactivity. Your account could be deactivated after 2 years of inactivity, but you won’t be charged for it. If you want to try to recover the account and it is currently blocked, please use this form: https://www.microsoft.com/digitalsafety/account-reinstatement
