Organizing and editing contact information within Microsoft Teams Free
If you are encountering the message "call could not be completed" when trying to initiate a video chat in Microsoft Teams, it may be due to not being enabled for the Enterprise Voice feature. This can happen if your calling license restricts you to calling only people within your organization. To resolve this issue, you can try the following workarounds:
- Use a one-to-one chat: Start a chat with the person you want to call and select the Audio call icon.
- Use the Calls feature: Go to the Calls section on the vertical toolbar, enter the user's name, select them from the results, and then click Call.
If the problem persists, you may need to contact your IT administrator to check your calling license and enable the necessary features for calling outside your organization.
