How to fix MS Surface over heating and freezing very often?

It has been the 5th time just now that my new MS Surface stopped suddenly and is hung until we need to manually switch off the tablet because it freezes. Every time, the MS Surface is very hot and we suspect that the overheating could be the cause of the device to freeze.

In terms of installation, we have a HDMI monitor and the RJ45 network cable connected to the docking station as well as 2 dongles for the wireless keyboard and mouse and the USB4 power from the MS Surface adaptor. We believe there is nothing wrong with our connections.

About the usage of the MS Surface, we work using Virtual Machine so most of our operations are via internet and not using the software resources from the MS Surface.

The device is brand new and we must find a way to get this malfunctioning fixed as it is very detrimental for our daily work.

PS: I have a similar set up at home and the happen every session I work from home. It is getting very annoying.

my new surface PC laptop shuts down and gets worse and worse. used multiple command prompts for scan disk, updates, fix and repair options, using the surface toolkit app for repair, NOTHING WORKS. all of the updates for Windows 11 are up to date. it still completely crashes, shuts down due to "unknown error and windows needs to restart" nothing works, computer is new, only a handful of common apps installed, nothing out of the ordinary, using less than 2% of total memory. charger working fine, this laptop is garbage. it crashed and now is just sitting unplugged black screen getting really hot. NONE OF THE DIAGNOSTICS WORKED. it says to me everything is up to date and normal and then it CRASHES AND SHUTS DOWN. even if I havent even opened up windows yet. POC. this is the spiral of DEATH.
