I understand how frustrating it can be to send emails successfully but not see new messages in your inbox especially when junk emails are still coming through. This usually happens due to settings or filters that redirect messages away from the inbox or because of account synchronization issues.
To resolve this start by checking your Inbox rules and Junk Email settings in Outlook to make sure no rule is moving messages to another folder. Also review the Focused and Other tabs in case emails are being sorted there. Verify that your blocked senders list does not include trusted contacts and add important addresses to your Safe Senders list. If you have recently reinstalled Outlook confirm that your account is properly configured and that your mailbox is not full as storage limits can prevent new emails from arriving. If the issue persists across both the app and web version, it may indicate a server-side problem and creating a new Outlook profile or using the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant can help diagnose and fix this.
