- Open Word.
- Go to File > Account on Windows
- Under Product Information, it should show Subscription Product: Microsoft 365 and display your signed‑in email address.
- If it shows Office 2019, select Sign out, then Sign in with the account that owns your Microsoft 365 purchase.
- If sign in does not reflect your subscription, go to:
2/ Next, configure Microsoft 365 applications as the default programs for your documents.
Windows
- Open Windows +I (Settings) > Apps > Installed apps.
- If you see Microsoft Office 2019 or Office Professional Plus 2019, select Uninstall.
