    Dear @Retha Janse van Rensburg,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!

Firstly, may I kindly ask if you switch back to "Classic" Outlook by turning New Outlook Off. If for some reason you don’t see a toggle in the new Outlook for Windows, Kindly check Toggling out of the new Outlook for Windows preview - Microsoft Support

In this case, please kindly follow these methods below and check if it helps:

    Method 1:

    • In Outlook > click on the File > Select Options > Click on General in the left-hand menu.
    • Scroll down to the Start-up options section and uncheck the box next to Opt in to the New Outlook. (This toggle Switch is actually at the very bottom of the General Tab under the title 'New Outlook Options)
    • Click OK to save the changes.

Method 2: If you continue to experience issues, you can also try editing the Windows Registry:

    1. Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box, type "regedit", and press Enter.
    2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Preferences
    3. Find the entry named UseNewOutlook and set its value to 0.
    4. Additionally, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Options\General and set the HideNewOutlookToggle value to 1.

    Method 3: Uninstall New Outlook:

Right-click the Outlook (new) item on the Start menu and use the Uninstall option there. See also Uninstall or remove apps and programs in Windows

Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

Thank you for your patience and your understanding. If you need further assistance, please feel free to ask! I'm looking forward for your reply.

To stop switching to the New Outlook, you can opt out of the automatic migration through the Outlook Options. Here’s how you can do it:

    1. Open Outlook.
    2. Go to File > Options > General.
    3. Look for the option related to the New Outlook migration and opt out.

Additionally, if you are an admin, you can disable the user setting for automatic migration to prevent users from being switched to the New Outlook. This can be done through group policy or registry settings.

If you continue to experience issues with the New Outlook reverting every time you start your computer, ensure that the settings are saved correctly and that there are no overriding policies in place that might be causing this behavior.
