Hello @Ron Welsh,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A Forum.
Based on the error code AADSTS5000225, this occurs because your tenant has been blocked due to inactivity in accordance with Microsoft’s Tenant Lifecycle Policy.
When a tenant remains inactive for an extended period, Microsoft marks it as inaccessible. If no action is taken, the tenant will eventually be deleted. Here’s what you need to know:
If the tenant was blocked less than 20 days ago, you can request reactivation:
- The tenant administrator should contact Microsoft Support. Please refer to the global support phone numbers: Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support
- Please avoid submitting multiple assistance requests while your current case is being processed. Wait for a response with the decision before taking further action.
To proceed, kindly provide the following details in a private message:
- Tenant ID
- Error Code
- Correlation ID from the recent failure
- Timestamp from the recent failure
- Business impact and justification for restoring the tenant, and an explanation of the impact if the tenant cannot be restored
If you do not plan to reactivate the tenant, please note:
- The tenant will be permanently deleted after 20 days of inactivity and cannot be recovered.
- If the tenant has already been deleted, you will need to create a new tenant in Azure.
