Hello Randal Co,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum
I understand your Clipchamp auto captions take too long to finish and return x sign on the list according to the screen shot you provided.
Since you have already tried several standard methods but to no avail. You should also try clearing Clipchamp cached, here is how to do it:
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type %localappdata%\Packages and press Enter.
- Find the Clipchamp folder. It's usually named Microsoft.Clipchamp_8wekyb3d8bbwe.
- Rename this folder to something else for example: Microsoft.Clipchamp_8wekyb3d8bbwe.OLD.
- Restart Clipchamp. It will create a new, fresh cache folder.
- Then you reopen Clipchamp and log in again.
This process will reset your Clipchamp preferences, but rest assure it will not delete your projects.
