Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
If you are trying to install an education version of Office, check with your school which credentials to use and from where to install.

I try to verify using the email verification method, I get the email, click the link and complete the puzzle, but always get greeted with "Sorry, your academic status could not be verified.". The name matches my school email, I have confirmed it's my school email, confirmed my school is identified by Microsoft, but despite 5 attempts it will not work? Help please?

Dear Karan
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum.
I understand you're experiencing frustration with your academic status verification, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this is causing.
After reviewing your concern, I must inform you that Microsoft Certification and Exam-related issues are outside the scope of support handled by the Q&A forums.
Additionally, if your verification email is associated with a work or school account, its security settings, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and other access controls are managed by your institution's IT department. As forum moderators, we do not have access to the detailed system or security configurations required to troubleshoot this effectively due to privacy and security constraints.
To resolve your access issue quickly and successfully, the most effective step is to contact your school's IT Support or Help Desk directly. They have the necessary tools and administrative access to investigate the account and verification status on their end.
I know this is inconvenient, but reaching out to your school's IT team is the only way to get a definitive solution for your verification problem.
I hope this guidance helps you resolve the issue promptly.
Wish you a pleasant day!
