How to fix "Error trying to get OneDrive settings"?

I'm a global admin, but still cannot access OneDrive of the employees in my company. What should I do?

    The error occurs if the user has never signed in. To avoid this issue, the user must sign in to OneDrive at least once with their account.

    We apologize for any inconvenience you may encounter when using our services/ products. To help you with the issue, we need more specific information from you:

    • Are there any other IT Admins in your tenant or are you the only Admin?

    In the meantime, try the following steps:

    Verify SharePoint Online License

    • Go to Microsoft 365 admin center > Users > Active Users.
    • Select three dot > Manage product licenses User's image
    • Ensure SharePoint Online (Plan 1) is enabled. If not, turn it on and save changes.
    • If already enabled, remove and reassign the license after a short wait (20–30 minutes) to refresh permissions.

    Accessing via SharePoint admin center

    • Navigate to Home - SharePoint admin center > More Features > Open User's image
    • In the pop-out panel, select Manage User Profiles User's image
    • Choose specific users and try accessing their OneDrive from there.

    Access control policies in SharePoint Admin Center

    • Navigate to Home - SharePoint admin center > Policies > Access control > OneDrive access restriction
    • Check for “Restrict OneDrive access to only users in specified security groups” User's image
