When I try to use my pay as you go subscription I get this message :(DenyAssignmentAuthorizationFailed) The client '******@bbb.com' with object id '1234' has permission to perform action 'Microsoft.Resources/subscriptions/resourcegroups/write' on scope '/subscriptions/abc/resourcegroups/eee'; however, the access is denied because of the deny assignment with name 'Subscription frozen due to inactivity for an year or more. Please call Microsoft Support to unfreeze' and Id '123333' at scope '/subscriptions/aaaa'.

Code: DenyAssignmentAuthorizationFailed

I tried all the branches on support and subscription management to no avail. There is simply no way to contact support or open a ticket.

Nice going.

Hi Cristian Daniel Stamateanu

Your pay-as-you-go subscription being frozen due to inactivity. This occurs when a subscription hasn't been used for over a year. Unfortunately, it looks like you'll need to reach out to Azure support to get it unblocked.

Here's what you can do:

Contact Azure Support: Since your subscription is frozen, the best course of action is to create a support request. You can do this via the Azure portal by navigating to “Help + Support” and selecting "New support request." This will allow you to submit your case directly.

Check Your Subscription Details: Ensure that your account has the correct permissions and that it's the right subscription type for the action you want to take.

Payment and Account Status: Make sure that there are no outstanding payments on your account or any issues with your payment methods.

If you're having trouble finding support options in the Azure portal, please follow up with me so I can guide you on how to create a support request.

Billing and Subscription Management support in Azure is free for all customers. You can create a support request via the Azure portal without needing a paid support plan.

I'm facing the same issue and after following the steps i got error:

Sorry, we couldn’t create a support request for this subscription as it may be disabled. Get help for disabled subscriptions at http://aka.ms/AzureSubHelp

And on http://aka.ms/AzureSubHelp there is no way to contact support.
