Northwind 2.4 Developer is missing table USysRibbons, so does not display the custom ribbon.
Importing it from version 2.3 fixes the problem.

Is custom ribbon and MRU still available in version 2.4 of Northwind Developers Edition?
I've tried opening the template on two pcs with Access 2021, but no custom ribbon.
Custom ribbon works in version 2.3.
Thanks.

The team that developed the NW2 templates is aware of the problem and pursuing a fix for it Microsoft. Thanks for the reminder, though.
Version 2.3 is no longer available.
Here's a link to an accdb containing the missing ribbon. Import the USysRibbons table from it into your Northwind database. Designate it as the ribbon for the accdb and close and reopen it. It should be good to go.
Where can I find version 2.3?
Hi Rick, this is what a search brought up:
Yes, both custom ribbons and Most Recently Used (MRU) functionality are still present in version 2.4 of the Northwind Developers Edition. The custom ribbon is used for navigation, and the MRU allows users to access recently opened orders or purchase orders through a combo box, as described in the Microsoft Support document. While there have been some reports of issues with the custom ribbon loading fully in version 2.4, this does not necessarily indicate the complete removal of the functionality.
