Using Whiteboard in MS Teams Breakout Rooms

Hi, I have used the Whiteboard tool during Teams calls, and I would now like to use it with students in breakout rooms if possible.

As the owner of the whiteboard, will the master version be copied through into each room so that the groups are working on the same version, or do I need to create sub-versions that are brought back to the main call to discuss?

If it is the same version for all groups, will this mean that for example, Group 1 will be able to see what Group 2 is doing?

Thank you

You can share a new/existing whiteboard with all participants in a Teams meeting. That same whiteboard is available across all devices.

You can also choose an existing whiteboard to share in a Teams meeting.
