I cannot get the equation feature on my windows 10 downloaded Whiteboard app.  Do I have to have a subscription to get this?  What other features am I not getting?  I would like to try this out for educational/tutoring -- it looks great for that purpose.

At about 3 minutes into the video, there is a discussion of the equation editor.  I know about and greatly admire this feature in OneNote and do not have the Hub software. 

I guess I will stop trying to figure out how to get it into MS Whiteboard and hope it will be inserted at some point in the future.  I have tested collaborative software for months now and I think the simplicity and versatility of MS Whiteboard is extraordinary.  I look forward to extending its use to kids I tutor in the near future.  I still have to get them some pcs.

    For Microsoft Whiteboard, we can download and install it for free. You can download the Microsoft Whiteboard Preview for free from the Windows Store on any Windows 10 or Windows 10S device. However, to save your boards, you must log in with a Microsoft account (Outlook, Hotmail, Live, Xbox, etc.) or an Office 365 account (personal, work, or school).
