Emails are disappearing from my Outlook/Hotmail account

I have searched all folders - including the Archive folder and checked my rules and filters.

This has happened twice. After the first time, I asked for it to be resent, I then saw the email and even printed a couple of attachements from it. The next day it was gone again!

Also, this is not for business, but that was my only choice in the required drop down box.
