My background graphics in Print Artist 25 Platinum do not match the one I clicked on.

I purchased Print Artist 25 Platinum and was sent a CD. When I installed it on my computer, it seemed to work fine until I tried to put a background on my project from the gallery, The icon I clicked on was a grey marble pattern, but what appeared was a cartoonish man surrounded by graffiti. Was I sent a defective CD, or a "bootleg" copy of the software?
