hi there Marlon Advento! thanks for posting this question on the q&a portal, its super helpful for others facing the same issue )
alright, lets break this down. u're trying to create a virtual machine in azure but hitting a snag with the subscription status showing as 'deleted' in the billing profile. oof, that's frustrating ))
when a subscription shows as 'deleted', it usually means the billing profile linked to it got disabled or removed. azure won't let u create resources under a dead subscription, makes sense right?
go to the microsoft 365 admin center and check if the billing account is still active. sometimes admins disable things without realizing the impact. if its really gone, u'll need to create a new subscription. but wait! before u do that, make sure u have at least one azure plan enabled on the invoice section. the error message u got is pretty clear about this )) contact azure support if the billing profile looks active but still shows as deleted. their backend might need a kick to sync things up.
always check the billing section first when resources refuse to spawn. 90% of the time its money related, either expired cards or disabled accounts.
this might help in other tools too - aws and gcp have similar subscription models. worth looking into their docs if u work with multiple clouds.
also, keep an eye on those invoice sections! they're like the secret sauce for azure subscriptions. no azure plan there? no resources for u ) hope this gets u unstuck! if not, drop more details and we'll dig deeper. bon courage! :)
Best regards,
Alex
