The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54} and APPID {15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402} to the user DESKTOP-L859GOU\Mudda SID (S-1-5-21-3310432888-172196483-2371647838-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool. i keep getting this error when im only playing this one certain game it continues to crash please help me what steps do i need to take in order for this error to go away! thank you

Steve B 36 Reputation points2021-11-06T00:22:10.093+00:00 I agree with Zosimo - giving it the upgraded permission to be able to run may fix the issue, but what exactly is the application that is trying to run with the wrong permission? I'd like to find that out before giving it more permission. I think it's causing my games to freeze for about 2 or 3 seconds when I'm playing. I don't notice it any other time.

I came with Windows 10 and keeps blocking out. I upgraded to Windows 11, same thing. I tried a million and one troubleshoots. I read all the comments and reviews, both on Google, and Microsoft, and watch almost the Youtube videos, and still nothing.
Now, I'm of the conclusion that the Hard Drive that comes with this PC is the issue, or it can be that the Windows 10/11 OS available on the Microsoft Website actually has a bug.
NOTHING WORKS and all of these comments and recommendations are just a waste of time.-

How about formatting the drive and start fresh. HP does some funky stuff to their restore, so unless you need something from the recovery partition, I'd create a bootable USB drive for Windows 11 and reinstall. It sounds like your issue is going to be unresolvable since these particular errors are generated from the Windows created and managed permission and registry, which is what people are trying to help one another fix. If everything else has failed, install windows 11 fresh. If it were the drive, you'd be experiencing random crashes and data corruption, not permission errors.

"To remove the unrecognized and callback permissions entries click Remove. ..... To leave .... unchanged and display only recognized in read only view click Cancel."
I click Cancel
There is an unknown user ID (not GROUP): S-1-15-3-1024 etc. Also displayed are ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES and SELF.
Restarting DCOMCNFG has no effect. I worry that if I click REMOVE if will change or block some Microsoft weirdness connected to MSFS 2020 Flight Simulator.
