I don't have updates to install.
Clean boot won't matter because the messages still show after I've cleared the event viewer log.
I also set a new user account to no avail.

Disabled performance counter data collection from the "ASP.NET_64_2.0.50727" service because the performance counter library for that service has generated one or more errors. The errors that forced this action have been written to the application event log. Correct the errors before enabling the performance counters for this service.

Performance monitoring cannot be initialised for the gatherer service, because the counters are not loaded or the shared memory object cannot be opened. This only affects availability of the perfmon counters. Restart the computer.

Hi Gil,
Thank you for the updates.
This issue may occur due to any missing driver or updates for the game or due to third party software conflicts.
Let’s try the following steps and check if it helps:
Method 1:
I suggest you to try running the Windows Updates and install all the available updates including the optional driver and firmware updates.
Windows Update: Frequently Asked Questions
You may also refer to the Computer manufacturer website and try installing the latest version of chipset and all other device drivers and check if it helps.
Method 2:
You may also perform a clean boot and check for the issue.
A clean boot helps to verify if any third party application services or startup item is causing this issue.
