ID 2002

IIS-W3SVC-PerfCounters

Setting up Web Service counters failed, please make sure your Web Service counters are registered correctly.

ID 1017

Perflib

Disabled performance counter data collection from the "ASP.NET_64_2.0.50727" service because the performance counter library for that service has generated one or more errors. The errors that forced this action have been written to the application event log. Correct the errors before enabling the performance counters for this service.

ID 3007

Search

Performance monitoring cannot be initialised for the gatherer service, because the counters are not loaded or the shared memory object cannot be opened. This only affects availability of the perfmon counters. Restart the computer.

Thanks!

    Hi,

    1. Which security software\ antivirus are you using?

Follow these methods and check if it helps:

Method 1: I would suggest you to scan your computer with Microsoft Safety Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware, and other malicious software. The Microsoft Safety Scanner is a free downloadable security tool that provides on-demand scanning and helps remove viruses, spyware, and other malicious software. It works with your existing antivirus software.

Also refer to this link: **http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/how-find-remove-virus**

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To rerun a scan with the latest anti-malware definitions, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Disclaimer: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.

Method 2: Confirm that your hard disk or your file system is not damaged.

    a) Go to Start Page.

    b) Type: CMD

    c) The Apps page will come up.

    d) Right click command prompt

    e) Click “Run as Administrator” on the bottom pane.

    f) If you get the User Account Control prompt. Click Yes to continue.

    g) At the Command Prompt, type Chkdsk /r /f

Important: While performing scanning on the hard drive if any bad sectors are found on the hard drive when scanning tries to repair that sector if any data available on that might be lost.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

I would request you to perform Clean Boot as suggested by Praseetha. You may get the errors in event manager if any third party programs conflict with Windows system files. A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Disclaimer: After you have finished troubleshooting with Clean Boot, follow these steps from section “How to reset the computer to start as usual after clean boot troubleshooting” to reset the computer to start as usual.

    Hope it helps.

The errors appear after clean boot.

In addition SFC /SCANNOW didn't find any issues.

Creating a new PC user didn't solve it.

Using LODCTR /R didn't solve this issue as well...
