Hi, I’m unable to access my LinkedIn account because I had set up two-step verification with the Microsoft Authenticator app, which I’ve now deleted. I no longer have access to the codes and did not save any backup codes or add an alternate verification method. Can you please help me recover my account? I am willing to verify my identity or provide a government-issued ID if required.Full Name: Aditya GuptaEmail associated with Linkedln: adityagupta20005@ gmail.com

    Hello Aditya!
    Thanks for reaching out.
There are two scenarios in this case.
Backup Enabled: If you had Microsoft Authenticator cloud backup enabled, install Microsoft Authenticator on your device, sign in to the same account used for backup, and select Restore from backup. If your LinkedIn entry reappears, you can generate codes again.
Doc Reference on backup and restore: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/back-up-your-accounts-in-microsoft-authenticator-bb939936-7a8d-4e88-bc43-49bc1a700a40 and https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/restore-account-credentials-from-microsoft-authenticator-ce53096e-1e1c-4840-9e32-1618bc33cd43

No backup available: If no backup is available, follow the LinkedIn Help article to complete their account recovery process for users who’ve lost access to the 2-step verification method. This may include identity verification. Please refer to LinkedIn documentation here https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1342692
