SharePoint designer 2013 - Cannot open Newform.aspx on a list since Windows 11 installed

Hello,

My computer was recently updated to Windows 11. Since then I am unable to open the .aspx pages assocaited with lists in SharePoint designer 2013. The program just closes when I try to do that.

Is there any fix for this issue?

    This is a common issue after upgrading to Windows 11, as compatibility problems can arise with older versions of SharePoint Designer.

    Possible Solutions:

    1. Run SharePoint Designer in Compatibility Mode
    • Right-click the SharePoint Designer shortcut
    • Select "Properties"
    • Go to the "Compatibility" tab
    • Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows 8"
    • Also check "Run as administrator"
    • Click Apply/OK and restart Designer
    1. Repair Office/SharePoint Designer Installation
    • Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features
    • Select Microsoft Office or SharePoint Designer
    • Click "Change" and choose "Repair"
    1. Clear SharePoint Designer Cache
    2. Close SharePoint Designer
    3. Delete files in: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WebsiteCache
    4. Restart Designer
    5. Reinstall SharePoint Designer 2013
    • Uninstall completely, then reinstall with latest updates
