Hi Sherazad Ahmed,
Good day! Welcome to Q&A forum.
This is a common issue after upgrading to Windows 11, as compatibility problems can arise with older versions of SharePoint Designer.
Possible Solutions:
- Run SharePoint Designer in Compatibility Mode
- Right-click the SharePoint Designer shortcut
- Select "Properties"
- Go to the "Compatibility" tab
- Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows 8"
- Also check "Run as administrator"
- Click Apply/OK and restart Designer
- Repair Office/SharePoint Designer Installation
- Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features
- Select Microsoft Office or SharePoint Designer
- Click "Change" and choose "Repair"
- Clear SharePoint Designer Cache
- Close SharePoint Designer
- Delete files in: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WebsiteCache
- Restart Designer
- Reinstall SharePoint Designer 2013
- Uninstall completely, then reinstall with latest updates
Hope these information helps.
