Outdated requirement for python azureml-rag package

Hi there,

I'm trying to use the azureml-rag package (with the extras azure and langchain) in the same project that I'm using the langchain package, but the most recent version of azureml-rag depends on tiktoken<0.6, whereas langchain depends on tiktoken>=0.7

I noticed that in the changelog of azureml-rag the requirement was supposedly loosened from ~=0.3.0 to <1 in version 0.2.8, but the package still requires <0.6 in version 0.2.36 nearly a year later. Please let me know if I'm missing something or, ideally, if the version requirement on the package can be updated.

You're not missing anything; this is a known issue with the current versions of these packages. Your best bet is to either reach out to the maintainers for an update or manage the dependencies in a way that allows you to work around the conflict.

Make sure you are using the latest versions of both azureml-rag and langchain. https://pypi.org/project/azureml-rag/ and https://pypi.org/project/langchain
Use tools like pipenv or poetry to manage dependencies more effectively and might provide a solution to resolve version conflicts. https://pipenv.pypa.io/en/latest and https://python-poetry.org/docs
