How do I find or change my pin number?

My wife is a user on the Microsoft 365 account I setup years ago. She is receiving emails from Microsoft asking her to verify the account. It asks for a pin number. We are unsure what that is. How do we go about determining the pin number, or how do we go about re-setting the pin number?

    Tell your wife that go to Security settings, select "More security options," and then choose "Update my phone numbers used for account security." From there, she can reset or add a new phone number for verification, or opt for alternative verification methods.
