I can't log into my Microsoft account using my password, even though it's correct. I can only log in with a one-time password sent to my email. My Windows license is linked to my Microsoft account, and I recently replaced my PC's components and reinstalled Windows.

Now I can't activate Windows because I can't log into my account using my password!

It always says the password or username is incorrect. I reset the password, but it didn't help.

If your password isn’t working after replacing PC parts and reinstalling Windows, it’s likely a security issue.

Safe Mode Login: Restart while holding Shift, enter Safe Mode with Networking, and try logging in with your password.

Check BIOS/TPM: Make sure TPM is enabled in BIOS. This can affect login and activation.

Activation Troubleshooter: Go to Settings > Activation > Troubleshoot, then choose “I changed hardware recently” and sign in.
