I'm very sorry about your problems. I would suggest you try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Go to the Control Panel (the legacy one)
- Open the Device Manager
- The headset may be found in the "Sound, video, and gaming controllers" section.
- Uninstall Device by right clicking
- Make sure the box that reads "Try to uninstall the driver for this device" is checked.
- By selecting the "Scan for hardware changes" icon button from the top row menu, you can reinstall the gadget.
