IMFAudioPolicy::GetDisplayName method (mfidl.h)
Retrieves the display name of the audio session. The Windows volume control displays this name.
Syntax
HRESULT GetDisplayName(
[out] LPWSTR *pszName
);
Parameters
[out] pszName
Receives a pointer to the display name string. The caller must free the memory allocated for the string by calling CoTaskMemFree.
Return value
The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

Remarks
If the application does not set a display name, Windows creates one.
