In a model-driven app, data is stored in tables in Microsoft Dataverse, and forms provide the user interface (UI) for interacting with the data. Controls on the form allow users to visualize data that is in table columns. You can also interact with the data by using controls.

Apart from the regular controls, such as a tab, a section, and input controls, model-driven forms include specialized controls that help you manage relational data and cater to typical business requirements. This module will describe these specialized controls.

First, you'll learn how to create a business process flow in the next unit.
