Creates an ID2D1EllipseGeometry.
Syntax
virtual HRESULT CreateEllipseGeometry(
[in] const D2D1_ELLIPSE *ellipse,
[out] ID2D1EllipseGeometry **ellipseGeometry
) = 0;
Parameters
ellipse [in]
Type: const D2D1_ELLIPSE*A value that describes the center point, x-radius, and y-radius of the ellipse geometry.
ellipseGeometry [out]
Type: ID2D1EllipseGeometry**When this method returns, contains the address of the pointer to the ellipse geometry created by this method.
Return value
Type: HRESULT
If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
Examples
The following creates two ID2D1EllipseGeometry objects and combines them using the different geometry combine modes.
HRESULT DemoApp::CreateGeometryResources()
{
HRESULT hr = S_OK;
ID2D1GeometrySink *pGeometrySink = NULL;
// Create the first ellipse geometry to merge.

50.0f
);
hr = m_pD2DFactory->CreateEllipseGeometry(
circle1,
&m_pCircleGeometry1
