Module Signature Dialog Box

Specifies a globally unique identifier (GUID) for a merge module in a Merge Module deployment project.

To access the Module Signature dialog box, select the ModuleSignature property in the Properties window when a Merge Module project is selected in Solution Explorer.

Element	Description
Signature	Specifies the ModuleSignature for the selected merge module. Caution Each released version of a merge module must have a unique ModuleSignature in order to avoid versioning problems. Although it is possible to manually edit the GUID portion of this property, instead you should use the New Signature button to automatically generate a new GUID.
New Signature	Generates a new ModuleSignature for the selected merge module.
