Auditing
Auditing log changes are made to customer records in an environment that has a Dataverse database. Dataverse auditing also logs user access through an app or through the software development kit (SDK) in an environment. Learn more in Manage Dataverse auditing.
Customer Lockbox
The Customer Lockbox feature applies only to Managed Environments. Customer Lockbox provides an interface where customers can review and approve (or reject) data access requests on those rare occasions when access to customer data is required. It's used when a Microsoft engineer must access customer data in response to either a customer-initiated support ticket or an issue that Microsoft identified.
