This article provides information about membership invoices and tax exemptions for the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program.
View or download your membership invoice
Use the following steps to view or download the final invoice for an order related to your membership in the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program.
To perform the procedure, you must be a global administrator or a Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program partner administrator.
Sign in to Partner Center with your work or school account, and then select Membership.
On the left pane, select Bills and Payments to view the list of previously purchased offers.
Select the invoice that you want, and then select Download invoice.
Invoices are usually available 10 days after payment is complete. If you can't find the invoice, it could be due to any of these reasons:
- You don't have the appropriate role: user management admin, Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program partner admin, billing admin, or admin agent.
- The invoice is older than three years. Invoices older than three years aren't retained, so you can't access them.
- Partners from specific countries/regions such as India, Taiwan, and Brazil need to contact support for invoices.

File a tax exemption
To file a tax exemption through Partner Center, use the following steps:
Create a support request. Include these details:
- Under Type of problem, select Cannot manage my profile.
- In the description, include your partner ID (formerly MPN ID).
After you submit the support request, Microsoft contacts you by email to get more information. Attach the appropriate supporting documentation for your tax exemption certificates in your reply.
Apply for a Korea tax invoice
To apply for a Korea tax invoice, create a support request. Your Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program membership must be active.
In the request, provide the following information:
- Required documents:
- Copy of Business Registration Certificate
- Confirmation of Variants
- Screenshot with order number and order date
- Contact information:
- Company name
- Company phone number
- Name of the tax officer
- Email address of the tax officer
- Partner ID (formerly MPN ID)
After the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program support team receives the preceding information, it forwards the information to the tax invoice issuing team. A tax invoice is issued every Tuesday.
Apply for a China tax invoice
To apply for a China tax invoice, create a support request. Your Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program membership must be active.
In the request, provide the following information:
- Special VAT invoice or General VAT invoice
- Partner organization ID (partner ID)
- Order number (invoice number in PC)
- Payment date
- Company title on invoice (company name)
- Contact email
- Corporate tax ID number (tax registration number)
- Membership package
- Invoice amount (include tax)
As of August 2024, Microsoft provides only digital invoices. After the support team receives the necessary information, it proceeds with the next steps. This process typically takes about seven business days.
Apply for a Taiwan tax invoice
To apply for a Taiwan tax invoice, make sure that your Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program membership is active.
For purchases completed by credit card, Microsoft provides only digital invoices. You can download these invoices from Partner Center. If the digital tax invoice isn't available in Partner Center, create a support request.
For purchases completed by wire transfer, a hard copy of the tax invoice is sent by courier to the company address registered in Partner Center. The invoice is sent within seven business days after order activation.
