If you want to cancel your purchase order, raise a support ticket. This article lists the criteria that you must meet when you request a refund for a Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program benefit.
Criteria for a refund
You can request a refund for a membership offer purchase (such as Partner Success Core or Solutions Partner designation) and related benefits. Your order is eligible for cancellation and refund only when you meet the following conditions:
- The purchase was made within the last 30 days.
- No benefits were activated or used.
- Product keys weren't viewed (even if they weren't activated).
Tax refunds, for tax-exempt partners, are available for one year.

Self-serve cancellation for Credit Card Purchases
The Cancel Order Self-Serve feature in Partner Center enables partners to cancel eligible membership offer purchases made via credit card directly from the Memberships workspace, without needing to raise a support ticket.
Note
Currently, only orders paid through credit cards can be canceled via the self-serve process. For payments made via Wire transfer, refunds will still require raising a support ticket.
Eligibility for Self-serve cancellation for credit card purchases
A user can cancel an order if:
The offer was purchased within the last 30 days (based on enrollment date).
No benefits have been activated or redeemed.
The user has an MPN Admin role.
The payment was made via credit card.
The account is not suspended.
Steps for Self-serve Cancellation Process for credit card purchases
Locate the Offer: Go to the Membership Offers page in Partner Center. If your order is eligible, a "Cancel order" button appears next to the offer.
Submit Cancellation: Click "Cancel order" provide a reason for cancellation and confirm your authority to cancel on behalf of your company.
After Cancellation: A message confirming cancellation and refund progress is displayed. Once the refund is processed, a success message will appear.
Why is the cancel button disabled?
If the order is not eligible as per the above criteria for cancellation, the "Cancel order" button is disabled.
For non supported payment type like wire transfer, you need create a support ticket for manual processing.
Refunds for Self-serve cancellation for credit card purchases
Once the order is canceled via the self-serve interface, you will receive the refund through the same payment instrument used for the original transaction.
You don’t need to create a support ticket; refunds will be processed automatically.
Refund amount should be the same as the original payment.
Processing the refunds can take up to 30 days
