What is the library?
The library is a shared space of actions, declarative agents, and other elements that makers in an organization can use to extend the capabilities of agents, including Microsoft 365 Copilot. Makers in your organization or Microsoft can create actions. You can use actions to retrieve data, perform actions, or automate processes. You can add items from the library to a custom agent or a declarative agent. You can use declarative agents, equipped with actions, to extend the functionality of Microsoft 365 Copilot.
You can access the library in Microsoft Copilot Studio by selecting Library in the left hand navigation.
Add new items to the library
When you go to the Library page, you see a list of items that are available. You can choose one of the selectors above the list to filter by type of item (agent, connector, custom connector, prompt). You can also search for items by name.
To add a new item to the library:
Select Add new. You're presented with several options:
- Agent: Create a new Copilot agent.
- Connector: Configure actions from a Copilot connector.
- Flow: Create a new Power Automate flow.
- Prompt: Create a new prompt.
Select one of the options. You're presented with a wizard that guides you through the process of creating the item.
